I first heard about Patagonman from an online article. I got into the lottery in 2019 but then the epidemic hit and I was finally able to participate in 2022. From what I could tell this race checked all of my boxes for an ideal endurance adventure... travel, trail running, cold water, remote location and unique format. I knew this would be a challenge nothing like any previous Ironman triathlons that I completed.

Extreme triathlons should be carefully considered. Patagonman will challenge you beyond just the physical endurance of the race but the coordination of a support crew, travel logistics and weather. Once considered, take the leap! This will become one of the most memorable experiences in your lifetime.
